1. Creating Form-Based Interface with iAuto

This chapter contains information on the principle of building the form-based interface to the listing database.

Each listing is a set of data fields, describing one particular object and stored in database. Database fields correspond to  properties of an object and define the way of the listing's data is stored. What really bring the listing database to life are forms. One uses forms to create, modify, search, and display listings.

iAuto offers a very powerful and flexible forms management system. This section provides general description and basic principles of the form-based interface model implemented by iAuto, while details on how to create and manage forms are provided in the "Form Managment" chapter further.
